Engage your neighbors working for a culture of peace
Let us know you’re Ready to Go by filling out this three-question form:
At our Kick-Off Meeting on August 22 we met about 20 individuals and organizations supporting the March for a Culture of Peace. Since then, more than a dozen more have signed up. This meeting—exactly one week before the march steps off from Cool Spring Park—will bring the whole movement together for an important final push to make the March for a Culture of Peace a change-making event in Wilmington.
Let’s show Wilmington’s most troubled neighborhood that we have a vision of our city that erases the label “Murder Town USA.” — a vision for peace that depends on you.
Let’s bring everyone together—city and suburban; black, brown and white; Anglo, African, and Hispanic; advantaged and disadvantaged; Christian, Muslim and Jew; young and old; people of all political views—to show that we are one community opposed to violence, murder, poverty, racism, and exclusion. That we care about each other no matter where we live, who we are, or what we believe.
