Create a Culture of Peace:
Remember, mourn, and pray for peace on Good Friday
The Movement for a Culture of Peace will not have a monthly forum in April. Instead, we are urging you to participate in a Good Friday walk sponsored by our partner, the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew.
People of all faiths (or of none) are welcome to participate in an Urban Way of the Cross—a journey through the streets of Wilmington: a time to remember, to mourn, and to pray. We will gather outside the William “Hicks” Anderson Community Center at 3:00 pm (501 N. Madison Street) and finished our journey at The Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew (719 N. Shipley Street) at 4:30 pm, where there will be praise, prayer, and music.
The Movement for a Culture of Peace is grounded in these principles:
- The moral, ethical and spiritual foundation of this work sustains us for the long road ahead
- We can accomplish more by working together
Please join us in participating and publicizing this event.
