Email_FooterThe organizers of the March for a Culture of Peace will hold a kick-off meeting for all co-sponsors from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. on Sept 20 in the Parish Hall of First Unitarian Church, 730 Halstead Rd., Wilmington 19803. The church entrance is on Whitby Drive, just off Concord Pike in Sharpley.

Co-sponsors are invited to send a leader and up to four other representatives.

The purpose of the meeting is to meet each other in advance of the march, to hear about the proposed program for the rally, and to begin building the fellowship we will need across the community to build a culture of peace.

We’ll meet, talk, and introduce our organizations and their missions to each other. You’ll hear more about a Memorial to the Lost at the march that will remember the victims of violence. And we’ll even take time to make some posters and signs for the march and rally.

Beverages and snacks will be served starting at 8:30 and the meeting will begin promptly at 9:00.

Co-sponsors are asked to RSVP for the meeting so that we know how many will attend. Click here to go to the registration site, which also has a map. You may register as an individual or group on behalf of an organization.

See you on the 20th! Email Jeff Lott of First Unitarian if you have any questions: jeffrey.lott@me.com
